While I am preparing for you the next broadcast on the channel (it will be a song inspired by Africa) and a grandiose musical show in life - Isidis, Voice of Forgotten Worlds, I decided to recall a piece from a large live recording and album of the same name Afromagia.
This is my song La Brisa, it has already been released in several versions, but it was in this that I finally managed to develop in full force, move away from the radio format and create a musical canvas in which an unbridled celebration of life is born from the initial dark and tragic chaos.

For the sake of this duet with a waterfall, I walked 11 hours through the forest. The waterfall, as you can see, is real elven, and the forest is magical.
It was not possible to reach the ancient fortress of the 10th century - to get to it we had to ford the river, but the water was too big after the rain and the current was dangerous.
But sitting at the end of the route near the river, behind its seething and the singing of birds, I heard for a few moments a choir of male voices singing the song of warriors before the battle, and as if in the style of hard rock)
At first I thought that it was someone nearby listening to music on speakers, and then I realized that there was no one around for several kilometers - we wandered into the farthest part of a mountain forest, where tourists with speakers simply do not reach and there is no one from the direction of the abandoned fortress , since it was impossible to ford this river on that day.
At the waterfall, I decided to sing a piece from the song Byzantine - it came into my heart and mind when I was in a Byzantine temple as ancient as this fortress and will sound like the last dance of lovers in our show Isidis - Voice of Forgotten Worlds.
I confidently sing in the non-existent language of the Forgotten Worlds in a duet with a waterfall and share this with you - in my opinion, an excellent point in a long-term musical career.
And everything else that will happen is just a wonderful addition.

Ради этого дуэта с водопадом я прошла 11 часов по лесу. Водопад, как видите, настоящий эльфийский, а лес - волшебный.
Не получилось дойти до древней крепости 10 века - чтобы пройти к ней нужно было перейти реку вброд, но вода была слишком большая после дождя и течение опасное.
Но сидя в конце маршрута возле реки, за ее бурлением и пением птиц я услышала на несколько мгновений хор мужских голосов, поющих песню воинов перед боем, и как будто в стиле тяжелого рока)
Сначала подумала, что это кто-то неподалеку музыку в колонках слушает, а потом поняла, что вокруг на несколько километров никого не было - мы забрели в самую дальную часть горного леса, куда туристы с колонками попросту не доходят и со стороны заброшенной крепости никого нет, так как вброд эту реку невозможно было перейти в этот день.
На водопаде я решила спеть кусочек из песни Византия - она пришла в мое сердце и ум, когда я была в таком же древнем как эта крепость византийском храме, и которая прозвучит как последний танец возлюбленных в нашем шоу Исида - Голос Забытых Миров.
Уверенно пою на несуществующем языке Забытых Миров в дуэте вместе с водопадом и имею возможность поделиться этим с вами - по-моему отличная точка многолетней музыкальной карьеры.
А все остальное, что будет - уже просто прекрасное дополнение.

What did you do on Friday evening? We rehearsed the Our Father in Aramaic for our show Isidis - Voice of Forgotten Worlds together with the sweet-voiced sirens Ksenia and Oksana
They are the ones who perform all the ensemble parts in the show, and sing:
- in the range from contralto to coloratura soprano (and this is very wide and difficult to achieve),
- in manners from ritual African singing to flamenco, from jazz to opera singing
- all this is sung in 5 languages
- they sing melismatics (embellishments in melody) in a filigree manner, including with minimal quarter-tone steps (this is a rel space) and make the most complex rhythmic accents.
And with all this, this is their first big stage project, so urgently support them with likes!
We met when Ksyusha and Oksana came to my ethnic singing group (vocal yoga based on songs of the peoples of the world) and this is what our fruitful interaction resulted in
The vocal parts in the show are very complex and varied, we still have a lot of work to do, but we are already doing a great job

А что вы делали в пятницу вечером? Мы репетировали Отче Наш на арамейском для нашего шоу Исида - Голос Забытых Миров вместе с сладкоголосыми сиренами @ksanka_ka и @_astromagazine_
Именно они исполняют все ансамблевые партии в спектакле, и поют:
- в диапазоне от контральто до колоратурного сопрано (а это очень широко и трудновыполнимо),
- в манерах от ритуального африканского пения до фламенко, от джаза до оперного пения
- все это поют на 5 языках
- филигранно поют мелизматику (украшения в мелодии), в том числе с минимальными четверть-тоновыми шагами (это вообще космос) и делают сложнейшие ритмические акценты

The moment of voice layering from the new video. How it's done? Very simple!
The software I use for performances has a real-time recording feature.
That is, having pressed the record button at a certain moment, I sing, press the button again, indicating how long the recorded phrase should remain, and then I record the next one on top of the already recorded melody.
Sometimes I duplicate the recorded melody, but at a different pitch and the result is a harmonious choir of voices.
And sometimes I sing something completely different and it turns out to be a choir of discordant voices
It is precisely with such a motley choir, increasing its density with an ever-increasing number of voices, that one can create unusual musical canvases.
And what I especially like about this performance is that the structure of this polyphonic musical canvas resembles the structure of the world.
It’s as if everything that can happen in an event happens at the same time - the past - the already recorded voices, the present - those that I sing right now, and the future - the canvas that is obtained when they are combined.
This is such metaphysics

Момент наложения голосов из нового видео. Как это делается? Очень просто!
В программе, которую я использую для выступлений, есть функция записи в режиме реального времени.
То есть нажав кнопку записи в определенный момент, я пою, нажимаю кнопку еще раз, обозначая какой длины должна остаться записанная фраза, и затем поверх уже записанной мелодии так же записываю следующую.
Иногда я дублирую записанную мелодию, но на другой высоте и получается слаженный хор голосов.
А иногда я пою что-то совсем другое и получается хор разлаженных голосов
Вот именно таким разношерстным хором, увеливая его плотность все большим количеством голосов, и можно создавать необычные музыкальные полотна.
И что особенно мне нравится в таком исполнении - это то, что структура этого многоголосного музыкального полотна напоминает устройство мира.
Как будто все, что может событийно произойти, происходит одновременно - прошлое - уже записанные голоса, настоящее - те, которые пою прямо сейчас, и будущее - то полотно, которое получается при их соединении.
Вот такая вот метафизика

At the end, I was so busy talking about the new show that I forgot to talk about this track itself (further information is for lovers of sophisticated esoteric philosophy)
So, its name is Daath, this is a concept from Kabbalah, a mystical movement in Judaism.
The central image of the Kaballah is the Tree of Life, the Sephiroth Tree. This is a symbol or even a mystical formula for the structure of the world and man.
And in order to describe it in as much detail as possible, I will quote just one of the texts that will be heard in our performance Isidis - The Voice of Forgotten Worlds, where the Sephiroth Tree is the main witness of the ongoing history:
"..The sacred tree of life has 10 gates. On its left side is the inevitability of fate, on the right is the mercy of the gods, in the middle is the path of the heart.
Its crown is the highest truth, its trunk is balance, its roots are the world embodied. Its 10 gates are Truth, Wisdom, Intelligence, Strength, Love, Beauty, Mercy, Glory, Victory and Foundation.
And if you climb the Tree of Life, like Jacob’s Ladder connecting Heaven and Earth, if you get lost in the middle of this path, somewhere between human love and unconditional truth, then through the gates of Knowledge in the very heart of the Tree you will pass to the other side, to the side of the Tree of Death.
It grows from top to bottom, it does not obey the laws of the world, it is the embodied chaos from which the Universe was born.."
“The Gate of Knowledge” is the hidden sephira Daath, a window from the world of life to the world of death, from the conscious to the subconscious, from the clear to the hidden, to the other side of God.
And this, in general, is why I make music.
It is music, dance, art in general that is the only thing that allows us, living and mortals, to look with one eye at the deeply dark and at the same time shining eyes of God and always drown there endlessly in endless happiness.
At the same time, remaining a person, with our human joys and sorrows, but now spiritualizing our earthly life, our actions and goals, and giving an amazing deep and radiant meaning to our existence.

В конце я так увлекалась рассказом о новом шоу, что забыла рассказать о самом этом треке. (далее информация для любителей изощренной эзотерической философии)
Так вот, его название Даат - это понятие из Каббалы, мистического течения в иудаизме.
Центральный образ Кабаллы - это Древо Жизни, Древо Сефирот. Это символ или даже мистическая формула строения мира и человека.

"Врата знания" - это и есть скрытая сефира Даат, окно из мира жизни в мир смерти, из сознательного в подсознательное, из ясного в сокрытое.
И это, в общем-то, и есть то, почему я занимаюсь музыкой.
Именно музыка, танец, искусство вообще - это единственное, что позволяет нам, живым и смертным, взглянуть одним глазком на эту неимоверную красоту мистического сердца Вселенной и навсегда в бесконечном счастье утонуть там.
При этом оставаясь человеком, со своими людскими радостями и печалями, но теперь уже одухотворившим свою земную жизнь, свои поступки и цели, и придавшим удивительный сияющий смысл своему существованию.

The first team rehearsal of our show Isidis - Voice of Forgotten Worlds was a great success! The video doesn't show the full lineup yet, there will be 15 of us, the screen will be bigger and brighter, the costumes will be even more varied, and the music will be louder)
This is a story about two lovers who want to cheat death. This is a story in which ancient cultures, mystical traditions, ethnic and electronic music, flamenco, breakdancing and tribal fusion mixed into a single universe of Forgotten Worlds to tell you about the most important things in different languages.
The video features the final song of the show - Terra, which will also be included in the new album of the same name, Voice of Forgotten Worlds.
This idea, crazy at first glance, about a theater show provoked me to be in this project simultaneously a singer, sound producer, composer, director, screenwriter, artistic director, partly a costume designer and props maker, but not a pipe player - this function of an orchestra person and a composer took over Alexander Kuindji
The premiere will take place on the theater stage, but it’s great that we first have the opportunity to assemble everything in the space on the 5th floor - this is where we have the opportunity to connect all our musical equipment, there is a projector and creative comfort, which is so important for the process.
Due to the amount of work that needs to be done to produce this show, I have been off the air for probably a month now. The intense eventfulness of the real world took me away from the virtual world, but temporarily, I will keep you informed of what is happening.

Это история о двух возлюбленных, что хотят обмануть смерть. Это история, в которой древние культуры, мистические традиции, этническая и электронная музыка, фламенко, брейк-данс и трайбл-фьюжн смешались в единую вселенную Забытых Миров, чтобы на разных языках рассказать вам о самом главном.
На видео звучит финальная песня шоу - Terra, она же войдет в одноименный новый альбом Голос Забытых Миров.
Эта безумная на первый взгляд идея с театральным шоу спровоцировала меня быть в этом проекте одновременно певицей, саунд-продюсером, композитором, режиссером, сценаристом, художественным руководителем, отчасти костюмером и реквизитором, только лишь не на дуде игрецом - эту функцию человека оркестра и композитора взял на себя @куинджи.
Премьера пройдет на театральной сцене, но очень здорово, что предварительно у нас есть возможность собрать все в пространстве 5 этаж - именно здесь есть возможность подключить всю нашу музыкальную аппаратуру, есть проектор и творческий уют, так важный для процесса.
В связи с огромным количеством работы, которую нужно проделать для выпуска этого шоу, я не выхожу в эфир уже наверное месяц. Насыщенная событийность реального мира увела меня из мира виртуального, но временно, буду держать вас в курсе происходящего.

While layering my voices on top of each other during today's broadcast, I accidentally went into an infernal trance and did not return
It all started with me singing the lullaby Durme Durme from the heritage of the Sephardim (Spanish Jews).
It was originally created by my colleague maestro @alexanderkuinji for our joint Sephardic album, and now it will also appear in a grand music show that my team and I are doing.
The song itself is quite clear in structure and will be about 5 minutes long. On the air, I took as a basis the instruments and sounds from the finished arrangement, Sasha’s pre-recorded guitar parts, and tried to sail with all this valuable baggage on a shaky but nimble canoe of improvisation into the very depths of the oceanic storm of this dark and deep music.
It seems to have worked out. And what I like about this line of work is that I never know in advance what will happen in the end.

Накладывая свои голоса голоса друг на друга в процессе сегодняшнего эфира я случайно ушла в инфернальный транс и не вернулась
А все началось с того, что я пела колыбельную Durme Durme из наследия сефардов (испанских евреев).
Изначально она была создана моим коллегой маэстро @alexanderkuinji для нашего совместного сефардского альбома, а теперь она появится также и в грандиозном музыкальном шоу, которое мы делаем с моей командой.
Сама песня довольно четкая по структуре и будет около 5 минут. На эфире я взяла за основу инструменты и звуки из готовой аранжировки, предзаписанные Сашей партии гитары, и попыталась уплыть со всем этим ценным багажом на шатком, но проворном каное импровизации в самую пучину океанического шторма этой темной и глубинной музыки.
Вроде получилось. И что мне нравится в таком направлении деятельности - это то, что я никогда заранее не знаю, что получится в конце.
Здесь каждый записанный голос живет своим посланием, провозглашает свою идею, а когда все голоса-идеи сливаются, то все невыразимое словами, что я хочу сказать через музыку, усиливается с каждой новой фразой и буквально кричит из меня.
Кто-то из хейтеров написал - да она просто орет в микрофон. Так это не я ору, это темная материя орет моим голосом

The golden hands of a loved one, a room with a view of the mountains, a lot of ingenuity and dexterity, a clear analysis of information on the case - and my old dream of my own real music studio came true!
And in the video there is a short story about how we created it. I still haven’t gotten around to posting it - now I work a lot in this very studio.
Everything is DIY - acoustic panels, bass traps (especially important for small spaces) and even a studio table (the work of our friend and his workshop).
And guess what? It sounds just perfect for both recording and mixing. I was convinced that it was hardly possible to arrange this at home, but the laws of sound physics did their job and now I am convinced of the opposite.
In general, make each other’s true dreams come true - after all, your common sun can shine on this fuel for millions of years ☀️

Золотые руки любимого человека, комната с видом на горы, много сообразительности и сноровки, четкий анализ информации по делу - и моя давняя мечта о своей настоящей музыкальной студии сбылась!
И на видео - небольшая история о том, как мы ее создавали. Все никак не доходили руки выложить - очень много теперь работаю в этой самой студии.
Все сделано своими руками - акустические панели, бас-ловушки (особенно важные для небольших помещений) и даже студийный стол (работа нашего друга и его мастерской).
И знаете что? Звучит просто идеально и для записи и для сведения. Я была убеждена, что дома это вряд ли возможно устроить, но законы физики звука сделали свое дело и теперь я убеждена в обратном.
В общем, исполняйте истинные мечты друг друга - ведь на этом топливе может миллионы лет светить ваше общее солнце ☀️

The video shows the song Ide Were, an excerpt from my concert and the album of the same name by Afromagia.
This track is based on a prayer from the Cuban religious tradition of Santeria - it is a song to the goddess Ochun, ruler of love, beauty, wealth, fertility and motherhood.
So if you lack any of the above, then the track will definitely help you at least begin to be in the mood of these qualities, and then they themselves will come into life, following the loud call and persistent rhythm)

Этот трек основан на молитве из кубинской религиозной традиции Сантерии - это песня богине Очун, повелительнице любви, красоты, богатства, плодородия и материнства.

Lullaby of a big horse
That I didn't want to drink water...
The water was black inside the branches,

This flamenco lullaby, “Lullaby of the Big Horse,” with lyrics by the Andalusian poet Federico García Lorca, performed back in the late 70s by Camaron de la Isla and Paco de Lucia, the legendary flamenco duo, has occupied my mind and heart for many years.
I sang it to my son when he was little, and I myself am invariably attracted to the dark, mystical, but at the same time very familiar images of this song.
They even remind me in some way of the well-known Soviet cartoon “Hedgehog in the Fog” - night, dark water, a big horse and the feeling that somewhere out there, at the end of this crazy night, in which the border between the real and the mystical has blurred, you someone is waiting by the warm fire with a cup of herbal tea. Someone with whom any darkness will become cozy and darkly beautiful.
Of course, I didn’t miss the opportunity to mix flamenco, house and even a little bit of elements from trance music - in their meditativeness and alluring darkness, in my opinion, they completely complement each other.
In general, if you imagine that a thoughtful Hedgehog was walking with a firefly flashlight through a dark forest to such a soundtrack, then some amazing new universe may accidentally be born)

Вода была черна внутри ветвей,

Эта колыбельная фламенко "Колыбельная большой лошади" на слова андалузского поэта Федерико Гарсии Лорки, исполненная еще в конце 70-х годов Камароном де ла Исла и Пако де Лусией, легендарным дуэтом фламенко, уже много лет занимает мой ум и сердце.
Я пела ее своему сыну, пока он был маленький, и меня саму неизменно притягивают темные, мистические, но в то же время очень родные образы этой песни.
Они даже в чем-то напоминают мне всем известный советский мультфильм "Ежик в Тумане" - ночь, темная вода, большая лошадь и ощущение, что где-то там, в конце этой безумной ночи, в которой стерлась граница между реальным и мистическим, тебя ждет кто-то у теплого костра с чашечкой травяного чая. Кто-то, с кем любая тьма станет уютной и темно-красивой.
Я, конечно, не упустила возможность смешать фламенко, хаус и даже чуть-чуть элементов из трансовой музыки - в своей медитативности и манящей мрачности, на мой взгляд, они полностью дополняют друг друга.
В общем, если представить, что задумчивый Ежик шел с фонариком-светлячком по темному лесу под такой саундрек, то может нечаянно родиться какая-то удивительная новая вселенная)

I really like to layer my voices on top of each other, experiment with phrases, and until the moment in the song, until they all come together, I have absolutely no idea what exactly will come out and how they will come together.
So, with each voice you can tell a separate story, create a chorus of stories, a round dance of stories, a fractal of stories. In my opinion, this is a wonderful consequence of technological progress.
Although, for sure, there are worlds where everything that I do with the help of electronics, such as layering voices, painting a musical canvas with different sounds and instruments - all this can be done simply in my mind and there it is immediately embodied in form.
And in this heavenly place, you don’t need to spend half a day figuring out what’s going on with the audio driver on your computer) But I caught myself thinking that these constant technical difficulties of the material world foster incredible fortitude, which then spills over into creativity in a stormy, shining stream.
Do you think the density and complexity of the material world really helps us create or is it just an inevitable condition of being here?

Очень люблю наслаивать свои голоса друг на друга, экспериментировать с фразами, и до момента в песне, пока они все не соединятся, абсолютно не знать, что точно получится и как они сочтутся.
Так вот, каждым голосом можно рассказать отдельную историю, создать хор историй, хоровод историй, фрактал историй. По-моему, это замечательное следствие технического прогресса.
Хотя, наверняка, есть миры, где все, что я делаю с помощью электроники, вроде наложения голосов, рисования музыкального полотна разными звуками и инструментами - все это можно делать просто в своем сознании и там оно сразу воплощается в форме.
И в этом райском месте не нужно полдня выяснять что происходит с аудио-драйвером на компьютере) Но я поймала себя на мысли, что эти неизменные технические сложности материального мира воспитывают невероятную стойкость духа, которая потом проливается в творчестве бурным сияющим потоком.
А как вы думаете, плотность и сложности мира материального действительно помогают нам творить или это просто неизбежное условие нахождения здесь?

Barasuayo is a prayer to Elegua, the god of fate, its paths and crossroads from the Afro-Cuban religious tradition of Santería, which mixes West African beliefs, witchcraft rituals with spirits possessing a person, and Catholicism.
And at the same time this is a track from my album Afromagia, which was recorded live as a video concert.
I decided to emphasize this unusual mood and the mixture of “light” understandable with “dark” unbridled, adding harmony from classic rock and roll in electronic bass. Whoever understands where exactly it is, in what part, will be in for a surprise)
When I sing prayers from Santeria, I feel some kind of anomalous surge of strength, it really is magic that lives regardless of whether we believe in it or whether we know anything about it.
At Santeria rituals, the leaders go into a deep trance through songs and dances in a circle of others who “accompany” the participants.
And I think that this is how the true meaning of music manifests itself - it is a gateway to other worlds.
And we can easily enter there, simply listening or playing music - without artificial stimulants, without consequences for the psyche - then easily leave, but at the same time holding in our hands, in our hearts and in our thoughts the treasures taken there - precious sparks of the fire of life.

Barasuayo - это молитва Элегуа, богу судьбы, ее путей и перекрестков из афро-кубинской религиозной традиции Сантерия, где смешались западно-африканские верования, колдовские ритуальные обряды с вселяющимися в человека духами и католицизм.
И одновременно это трек с моего альбома Afromagia, который был записан вживую как видео-концерт.
Я решила подчеркнуть это необычное настроение и смешение "светлого" понятного, с "темным" необузданным, добавив гармонию из классического рок-н-ролла в электронном басе. Кто поймет, где это именно, в какой части - тому будет сюрприз)
Когда я пою молитвы из сантерии я чувствую какой-то аномальный прилив сил, это действительно магия, живущая в независимости от того, верим ли мы в нее и вообще знаем ли о ней что-нибудь.
На ритуалах сантерии ведущие уходят в глубокий транс через песни и танцы в круге других, "аккомпанирующих" действу участников.
И я думаю, что именно так проявляется истинный смысл музыки - это врата в другие миры.
И мы можем легко войти туда, просто слушая или исполняя музыку - без искусственных стимуляторов, без последствий для психики - затем легко выйти, но при этом держа в руках, в сердце и в мыслях сокровища взятые там - драгоценные искры огня жизни.
