Ederlezi is a famous Gypsy song that you probably heard in the film “Time of the Gypsies” by Kusturica.
Tomorrow I will sing it and literally create it anew from a round dance of sounds, instruments and samples on my weekly broadcast and in a new arrangement.
This video and version of the song were filmed more than 2 years ago in an abandoned mansion in Sochi - we just got together with the guys and filmed 5 clips in 5 hours
I then released my experimental album Etronica, still at the intersection of acoustic and electronic music, and now, of course, I would have changed everything in it, but changing anything in already released albums is akin to changing something in a life already lived - an absolutely pointless and thankless task for weaklings
It’s better to raise everything you’ve lived with as a flying flag above your head and proudly walk forward, better with a loud song and without turning around)
And the gypsy songs themselves are always about freedom, about love, about celebration and about the eternal road to where the heart leads.

Именно завтра я буду петь ее и буквально создавать заново из хоровода звуков, инструментов и семплов в своем еженедельном эфире и уже в новой аранжировке
Это видео и версия песни были сняты уже больше 2 лет назад в заброшенном особняке в Сочи - мы просто собрались с ребятами и отсняли 5 клипов за 5 часов
Я тогда выпускала свой экспериментальный альбом еще пока на стыке акустической и электронной музыки Etronica и сейчас я, конечно, все бы уже все в нем поменяла, но менять что-либо уже в выпущенных альбомах сродни тому, чтобы поменять что-то в уже прожитой жизни - абсолютно бессмысленное и неблагодарное занятие для слабаков
Лучше все, что прожито, поднять реющим флагом над головой и гордо идти вперед, лучше с громкой песней и не оборачиваясь)
А сами цыганские песни - это всегда о свободе, о любви, о празднике и о вечной дороге туда, куда ведет сердце.

В общем я коварно расчитываю на то, что каждый мой эфир, включенный и прослушанный вами на всех платформах вместе взятых сработает как тибетский молитвенный барабан - его закручивает каждый, идущий в храм, и молитвы разносятся уже сами, пока он не остановится.
Вот и я думаю, что останавливаться нельзя - нужно непременно раскручивать молитвенный барабан своих идей, в моем случае - торнадо Забытых Миров, и они-таки откроют нам с вами - единомышленникам и неисправимым мечтателям, Звездные Врата в глубинный рай каждого из нас.

My new track Byzantine - its melody came to me when I visited the ruins of a Byzantine temple and literally saw what it was like in its heyday.
In place of piles of stones darkened by time are majestic light walls, as if they had absorbed the ringing voices of people who came to pray for the most sacred.
In place of the deceased temple building there is a living temple that continues to resound in eternity. Can our voices proclaim life across time and space?
I'm sure yes.
On this broadcast I improvise, combining the parts of voices that I sing myself and the sounds that I collected to arrange the song.
And after some time, the song will be performed in its final form in my big musical show Music of Forgotten Worlds, which we are doing with a team of musicians, dancers and artists.

I composed this track Iya Lagua from my broadcast last week three years ago, inspired by the Afro-Cuban ritual chant to the god Obbatala from the Santeria religious tradition.
This tradition originates in West Africa and is a mixture of African beliefs, magic, Catholicism, and also has some similarities to voodoo.
I learned the melody and words in Yoruba when we did this chant with the Latin American percussion orchestra @sambateria - among the participants there were real santeros from Cuba, adherents of this religion.
In total, at the moment I have 2 recorded versions of this song in the albums Etronica and Afromagia.
I first made the arrangement at a slow tempo, using the sounds of cello and the African string instrument Ngoni, and then I went wild and did everything in a dance house rhythm, added acid sequences and Cuban percussion.
In general, I wanted the track to sound brazen, with a mystical dark flavor and so that it would be impossible not to dance to it) Do you think I managed to achieve this?

Этот трек Iya Lagua я сочинила три года назад, вдохновившись афро-кубинским ритуальным песнопением богу Оббатале из религиозной традиции Сантерия.
Эта традиция берет начало в Западной Африке и в ней смешались африканские верования, магия, католицизм, и она также имеет некоторое сходство с вуду.
Мелодию и слова на языке йоруба я узнала, когда мы делали это песнопение с оркестром латиноамериканской перкуссии @sambateria - среди участников были настоящие сантерос из Кубы, приверженцы этой религии.
Всего на данный момент у меня есть 2 записанные версии этой песни в альбомах Etronica и Afromagia.
Аранжировку я сначала сделала в медленном темпе, использовала звуки виолончели, африканский струнный инструмент нгони, а затем разошлась не на шутку и сделала все в танцевальном хаус-ритме, добавила кислотных секвенций и кубинской перкуссии.

Terra - новая песня из моего новогоднего эфира. Это первый мой трек, мелодию которого я сочинила так, что сначала сама не могла ее спеть
Обычно я не испытываю никаких проблем со сложными вокальными партиями, но здесь пришлось хорошенько поработать именно над припевом, чтобы спеть его полным голосом так высоко, при этом свободно и мощно, и при этом не оставив свои голосовые связки навсегда пылиться без сознания в углу студии

Terra is a new song from my New Year's broadcast. This is my first track, the melody of which I composed in such a way that at first I couldn’t sing it myself
Usually I don’t have any problems with complex vocal parts, but here I had to work hard on the chorus in order to sing it in a full voice so high, free and powerful, and without leaving my vocal cords forever collecting dust unconscious in the corner of the studio
And since my anger was born ahead of me, I succeeded, like everything else - there are no impossible tasks if there is a reasonable approach and a lot of Russian swearing in the language arsenal
And the language of this song is non-existent (except for the word Terra), and this song will be the final one in my new album Songs of Forgotten Worlds and in the big musical show of the same name that we are preparing with an amazing team of artists
