We took this LED HeadLamp camping and it's AS BRIGHT AS THE SUN! LOL
Whoa! Turbo power light for sure! My 8 1/2 year old son enjoyed wearing this camping and blinding us with it. LOL This headlamp is the Mac Daddy of all bright headlamps! It puts every other light to shame with its crazy bright beam! Pros: 1) SUPER bright! On a walking trail, you can see all around, with a huge bright beam that shines far and wide. 2) Adjustable head straps to fit children to adult sized heads. My son used it and my husband as well. I tried it on and it was comfortable. 3) Light can point down or straight ahead. 45 degree rotation. 4) You can charge it up with the provided wall outlet and cord. No batteries needed! 5) Although I didn't test it for the full time of use, the description reads 8 hours at the brightest level and 10 hours at the lower light level. 6) Lower light is still incredibly bright 7) Water resistant (I cannot see why it says waterproof. It can withstand rain, but cannot be submerged underwater) According to BUDIndustries site: IP Rating Protection IP65 Enclosures Able to protect against water jets Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects. Test duration: at least 15 minutes Water volume: 12.5 litres per minute Pressure: 30 kPa at distance of 3 m Cons The rechargeable cable is specific to this unit. I worry about losing it! I own an array of rechargeable items. I have lanterns, power banks, rechargeable fans, Bluetooth speakers, headphones and gadgets galore. Most of them use a universal USB charger cable with the same plug in style end that works for LOTS of assorted stuff. Even my son's MP3 playing wristband, his Otterbox rechargeable iPhone 4S case and a smart watch ALL use the same charger. THIS charger plug and cord unit looks unique. It's round and NOT shaped with the USB end. It's an actual AC adapter that plugs into a wall outlet. I will label it with Washi tape and a sharpie marker and just hope that it doesn't get misplaced. This is a pretty basic headlamp and it gets the job done. There aren't any fancy modes like flashing mode for emergencies, or SOS pattern lights, or a dim light mode, but really, most people just want "Bright" or "Bright as the sun" modes, right?
