NOVA III - nova3.wad [Doom II] MAP10 UV-Max in 13:35
NOVA III serves as the third instalment of the NOVA series for Doom, where both new and experienced mappers come together to form a full 32 set of maps. The final release was made public on March 12th, 2020. ---------- Source Port used: PrBoom+ v2.5.1.4 Recording Software: OBS Studio v27.0.1 Control Scheme: Keyboard only ---------- IWAD: Doom II PWAD: NOVA III (nova3.wad) Complevel: 9 Map Title and Number: A Partner of the 49th Day / MAP10 Map Author(s): Kurashiki Time Completed: 13:35.46 Category: UV-Max Initial Monster Count: 622 Secret Count: 5 Demo Recorded: January 14th, 2022 ---------- About the Map: A large Hellish stronghold dominates much of this slot. The architecture is superb, combat is plentiful and challenging, and also fitting for the last of the theme in the set. One area of note is the secret 'FIREBLU' textured section. Very unique (and will probably ruin the video quality). In terms of the speedrun, I believe this was my third or fourth exit (I can't remember exactly), but I did get more aggressive with each consecutive attempt.
