DJI Osmo Action v01.10.00.10 Firmware Bug.
I recently updated the firmware on my Osmo Action. Since updating I cannot record video in my preferred settings which are 2K/30fps if I use the voice command feature to start recording. Now, in the absence of a remote control to operate this camera, voice command is an important feature for me while out hiking or kayaking. My apologies, on the video I have listed the firmware update as v01.10.00.10, it should have read v01.10.00.40 Here is a short video explaining the bug in the DJI Osmo Action v01.10.00.40 firmware which was released in December 2020. Please excuse the shakiness, I was recording this on my phone and trying to look over my phone to alter the setting on the Osmo Action. UPDATE: I sent my Osmo Action to The Netherlands which is the nearest DJI Service Centre for repair. DJI claimed that they change the core module board under warranty and that the camera was now repaired. On receiving it back in the UK with an import charge of £46.66, my Osmo Action still has the same fault, so it is not repaired, and I am £46.66 out of pocket.
