Mack the Knife - Kurt Weill arr Alan Fernie - Hastings Citizens' Brass Band
This performance was adjudicated at the Hawkes Bay Festival of Bands held at Lindisfarne College in May 2010. We were awarded silver. Comments were positive and encourage us to continue working on articulation/attack as well as finding good 'sound models' to listen to. The Hastings Citizens' Band is a community group with a lot of school aged members. We rehearse on Wednesday nights at "the blue band room" in Orchard Road, Hastings, New Zealand.
