DAP Files 03: Fiio M6 'Hi-Res' DAP Review
Disclaimer: FiiO kindly supplied this M6 direct, for the purposes of this review and a forthcoming YouTube video. I paid nothing for the M6, and have used the hell out of it. Partial spec are below, but it’s a FiiO. That means amazing Bluetooth and a bunch of features well worth the look. The M6 goes for 179$ USD. I should have said this: the angle of the screen in the hand and the compactness of the player work against this gesture system, which works far better with two hands than one, that is, unless your hands are small. If they are small, you should have no problems. Is the M6 made for women? Maybe. If any DAP was, the M6 was built for me. Small, well-constructed, and good sounding, it ticks very personal boxes for me. But UI problems, and measurable performance issues hold it back. Let's take a look at FiiO's latest.
