Let's Play Civilization VI as Germany #20 (Deity)

Welcome to Let's Play Civilization VI as Germany on Deity. Today were going to try playing as Germany on Deity on a Continents map. I've been curious about playing Germany for a while ever since the changes in the winter patch which limited area of effect bonuses from Industrial zones, which is a significant nerf to Germany as their unique district is a special industrial zone called the Hansa. Since Germany was one of the first civilizations most people on YouTube tried, a significant portion of their strategy for this civilization is now obsolete. So I see some value in doing a lets play as Germany at this point. Despite the nerfs to industrial zones the Hansa is a very powerful district and Germany's ability to build one extra district than normal makes it a power house. Germany's Unique Abilities, Unit and District Fredric's unique ability: Holy Roman Emperor - Has an extra military policy slot and + 7 combat straight when attacking city states. Germany's Unique ability: Free Imperial Cities - Each city can build one more distract than normal (exceeding the usual population limit). Germany's Unique Unit: U-Boat - Replaces Submarine. + 10 combat strength when fighting in Ocean (deep water) tiles. Also has + 1 vision range and is cheaper to build. Germany's Unique District: Hansa - An industrial district unique to Germany. Gains +1 production for each adjacent resources (of any type) rather than mines or quarries. Gains + 2 production for being next to a commerce hub. Half the base cost of a regular industrial zone.
