So, I have been wanting to do this for some time and finally sat down to do it... Plugged my 6-string Deering Goodtime G6S Custom into my electric guitar pedalboard and found some cool sounds. Here is a list of what you’re hearing: Banjo pickups blended 70% Kavanjo humbucker & 30% piezo, into... •Xotic SP Compressor •Strymon Deco (saturation side only) •Boss DD500 Delay on “Tera Echo” mode Then mic’d about 6” from the head with a Carvin condenser mic. Both signals go straight to mixer with the board providing hall reverb and a tiny touch of compression, blended to taste, then recorded straight into iPhone via USB from the mixer.
