For a stealth mission, this honestly wasn't that bad. You can legitimately shoot your way through this checkpoint if you've got the ammo and the skill, but it's balanced in such a way that doing so really will overwhelm you quickly. The stealth option on the other hand, which kind of shows up the ropey AI, still feels satisfying and logical - there's no corner-of-the-eye bullshit that makes a guard instantly blow your cover.
