Solved - OBS Black Screen in Laptop
Black screen of Display Capture of OBS in laptops? Problem solved. This is how it is done. My Laptop is an Asus X555LB, bought 2015 and running Windows 10 Home, Version 1904. My problem is after I updated OBS to the latest version, the Display Capture mode in OBS studio is not working and is presenting a Black Screen. However, the window capture works fine but I wanted the display capture to work too. So after having tried the recommended solution from OBS forum, the problem remained until I did these additional steps. These are the steps : 1) Go to Desktop window, right click and select Display Setting. 2) Scroll down to Graphic settings and click it. 3) Then at the Graphics setting, click browse and go to OBS-studio / bin / 32 bit to select the OBS application file and click add. 4) The OBS applications will be added. 5) Next click the Options of the added OBS studio and select "Power Saving". This an important step, so don't forget it after adding the OBS application file. 6) Close the setting windows and launch OBS. The display capture should work, mine did.... :) Good luck.
