Commercial Robbery 6201 N Front St DC 18 35 090474
On Thursday October 25, 2018 at 8:54 pm, an unknown male wearing Muslim like attire, entered the Family Dollar store located at 6201 North Front Street. Initially the offender acted as if to be shopping. After several minutes, the offender approached an employee and demanded to be taken to the office area. Once inside the office the suspect produced a black handgun and demanded that the safe to be opened. The offender fled the store on foot to a waiting dark colored SUV in the parking lot. Taken was $9600. No shots were fired nor were any injuries reported. Suspect Description: Black male, medium build, wearing dark colored Muslim like attire, dark colored shoes, and armed with a handgun. Suspect fled in a dark colored SUV, unknown make or model.
