i think few of my friend already know by now that i am a BMW guy... but i bet they don’t know that i grow up lusting over mercedes benz because of my father... in fact the first car he gave me was W124 E220 manual trans... i love their build quality and ride quality... but after i own my first bmw, i never look back. each of their own, but bmw suits me more.• hendrik is a friend of my good friend reza. i have grown close to reza and admire his approach in building his cars. and reza introduced hendrik to me. i am curious about his w204. so thank you for letting me use it.• the car traction control cannot be fully turned off, so i had to change the way i drive... any early throttle during weight transition combined with large steering input will cut the power, so i carry more speed, throw sharp steering before i accelerate and gradually apply the throttle as i reduce steering input. i found that better than trying to force the car around the bends.• i am surprised how much control i still have on this lumpy car... i was expecting a spring bed delayed reaction. i understand why most people think its slow... it is the numbness of feedback that muted the car when it trying to communicate to us... but that is the same reason why it is much more comfortable than a bmw on its class...• good car... respect to whoever bring a stock daily car to circuits ? drivers upgrade is much more important than car upgrade...
