It was a wonderful opportunity and experience to be able to study the guitar in depth at this point in her life, having been a keen amateur musician for many years. She took part in Masterclasses with Xuefei Yang and Laura Snowden and in early music studies with Elizabeth Pallett. Sue particularly enjoys duo and ensemble playing, and very much enjoys this professional duo with soprano Katie Gilbert. As well as teaching, Sue leads Elmfield Community Choir in Stourbridge, lately on Zoom, and is a regular participant in community music events. She looks forward very much to the time when music lovers can again meet to enjoy listening to and participating in live music.
