Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. Isfahan, Iran

One of the most famous in Ishahan - Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque - was build in XVI century. The interior inside the Mosque really impresses. The decoration seems to lead the eye upwards toward its center, as the rings of ornamental bands filled with arabesque patterns become smaller and smaller. It is a lucky for us that the Mosque was empty and we enjoy its beauty alone. The sunlight illuminate the ornaments and it has an astonishing effect.
