Intercultural academic greeting

Dear Academics, My name is Alexandra A. Chudinova, the founder of the Foundation for Academics. Today I am talking about the intercultural academic greetings. Three things what you have to remember being an academic introducing someone or yourself: Professional ranks (86 countries have different academic professional ranks): President, Doctor, Professor/Chair, Senior lecturer, Lecturer, Assistant lecturer, Senior Tutor. An honorific title In American and British cultures: Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms, Mx, Sir, Dame, Dr, Cllr, Lady, or Lord. Place where you introduce yourself: Conference, email, professional personal meeting, academic round table. Cultural specifics, for example, to pronounce a middle name (Russian culture), a higher honorific or professional title (British culture), specific Islamic honorifics (Arab culture). My pleasure for taking the course about the ethics or consultation writing by email ask@thefoundationforacadrmics.com or by direct messages on LinkedIn or Facebook page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-foundation-for-academics/ www.instagram.com/thefoundationforacademics https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090020574295 Welcome to Royal Holloway, University of London to learn about British culture. #thefoundationforacademics #academics #thefoundation #education #highereducation #alexandraachudinova #thenobelprize #science #academy #phd #postdoc #academicacareer #peace #researchtraininggroup #dynamicsofconventionality #conference #research #iirst # #quantitativeresearchfellow #fellow #quantitative #research #seniorresearcher #фондакадемиков #education #fund #highereducation #academicwriting #jeffreywilson #harvarduniversity #research #researchgate #drexeluniversity #Royal Holloway #UniversityofLondon #culture
