Hatton Hootenanny - 'Turn Me On'
The Hatton Hootenanny 2 May 12th 2012 The Astor Theatre, Deal, Kent, UK 'Turn Me On' originally written and performed by Norah Jones. As the curtain closed on the second outing of The Hatton Hootenanny, it was apparent to everyone in The Astor Theatre that something special had just taken place. This was an evening full of memorable performances from a cast of extremely gifted performers where the audience and musicians alike merged to create a truly magnetic and unified atmosphere. The music spectacular was held in memory of local resident Dave Hatton, and to raise money for the charity that showed him so much love and care, The Pilgrims Hospice. £1000 was raised on the night and a big thank you must go to all of the staff at Pilgrims, James Tillet of The Astor Theatre, all of the musicians and singers who gave so much time and endless energy, the sound and lighting team, and especially to the tremendously kind spirited audience who came and combined to make this such a special evening.
