Dante's Prayer

This piece is a tribute to Gustav Dore's amazing lithographic illustrations in Dante's Inferno. (And a few from Purgatory and Paradise.) This is also my favorite song, Dante's Prayer by Loreena McKennitt. Loreena was traveling in Russia after the wall fell, and was reading Dante's Inferno at the time. She wrote this as a tribute to the people of Russia after witnessing their suffering and hardship. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
