Installing NVidia GTX760 into a Dell Precision 490 A08 bios motherboard.
installing an old GTX760 into a Dell Precison 490 A08 motherboard. the upgrades so far have been Xeon from 5130 to 5160 which speeds up by 50%. There are some quad core options but these use a lot more power. then this Nvidia Quadro 260 (unsupported in Windows 10) to Nvidia GTX760 - here Nvidia no longer support Xeon CPUs. Needed a 6way female to 2 x 8 cable. PSU us 750w so more than enough. used an older Nvidia graphics driver when they were not play silly games about supporting server machines. I can now play MP4s! And some basic games I like.
