Amphere REO Batt Scooter Battery Replacement
updated on 09-05-2022: Since last week the vehicle the escooter battery started to drain in 10-12 kms. when i opened and saw the bulged battery . one battery not accessible and another showed 11.2v and two other batteries showed more than 12.8v. Just 1year and 5 months had done around 2000 kms only. Bought the same battery at Amphere escooter showroom but it seems the replaced battery appears same but did not last 5.5K kms like the stock/original batteries. SO BE CAREFUL WHEN REPLACING THE BATTERIES. Description: Another Covid19 free time work during 2nd week of Dec.2020. During Replacement The main tip is to clean well and replace the wires between batt as it was. I went to buy this at night. One year warranty and the purchase date is visible in the video. After 3 years the mileage dropped to 15 kms from 30 kms and when checked after charging the batt found one batt weak. It is better to replace all as had served for 3 years and 5000 plus kms done. We decided to buy new. Why not replace Lithium ion?: Li batt needs New charger and the batt is costly. Don't want to alter the stock one this time. Pros: Li makes scooter weight less by 10 kgs.
