Help required - with how to repair a Vintage CD Player - Denon DCM-460

Vintage Denon CD player with multiple operation problems - Only plays sometimes and CD transport very noisy, also doesn't always move onto next disc. After being left connected to power, the player has improved a little and does play more often, but still not good. Any advice appreciated - is it repairable - Sydney Australia.
