On her, the great Homer lavishes his most beautiful epithets such as “rosy-fingered” and “saffron-cloaked”. She is the sister of Sun and Moon, the mother of Morning Star. Today, you can see her in Aurora Borealis; the unique arches of light appearing on the earth’s magnetic field. This album is dedicated to her; the dawn, the messenger, the guide, the traveller, the crier of the light. Lina Palera is a world-renowned lyre player with live performances at numerous concert halls, museums, international conferences etc. such as the Greek Museum of Byzantine Culture and the Frankfurt MusicMesse. She has an extensive discography as a guitar player and a vocalist. “Aurora” is her first music album dedicated solely on the ancient lyre and the emotions it can evoke.
