The cast of Super Troopers 2 hit the red carpet for the premiere in New York City. Director Jay Chandrasekhar returns along with co-writer Kevin Heffernan and co-stars Steve Lemme and Paul Soter for the crowdfunded second installment of the cult classic. Chandrasekhar told us within 24 hours they received $2 million in funding from fans and after 30 days a total of $4.7 million, exceeding the budget of the first film. The second film follows the 'Super Troopers' as they report for duty in a French Canadian town under international border dispute. Rob Lowe and Emmanuelle Chriqui play citizens of the disputed area, as it not so seamlessly transitions to U.S. sovereignty under the law enforcement of the wacky fivesome.
