iPhone 11 Pro vs Pixel 3 vs Note 10 vs XS Max Camera Comparison - night mode, ultrawide

#iPhone11 #iPhone11Pro #iPhone11ProMax Let's jump right in - If last years upgrade was strictly for the upgraded screen display - this year is all about the Camera's. And man it's a warfield out there for pole position - Arguably the best phone smartphone camera is the Pixel 3 - and it feels like both Apple and Samsung were sidelined with the quality of shots coming out of the Pixel phone - especially at night. And like the Empire strikes back - the iPhone 11 takes the reigns back from night time shooting. We tested the camera in various lighting situations, daylight, shade light, ambient light, darkeness and near pitch black. Let's see how they fare: Next up the ultrawide - and for this test we're bringing in the Galaxy series with the S10 ultrawide lens. The Note 10 and Galaxy S10 are virtually the same. To say I love Ultrawide photos - or fish lens views - is an understatement, immersive landscapes - so let's put the galaxy ultrawide lens against the iPhone - all in Pike Market and Seattle's very own Pumpkin patch So there you have it - for the darkest and near pitch black photos - apple takes the cake. Add in some ambient light - and there are still time the Pixel 3 can process clearer pictures. In the world of ultrawides - the lighting, balance, and detail on the iPhone 11 is clearly better - with the exception that the samsung lens captures a wider view. Strictly on the ultrawide lens and capturing vast spaces in such a close range, Samsung wins. But for details and photo quality apple is king. And lastly - safe to say the iPhone 11 Pro Max beats the iPhone XS Max in all categories. Truthfully it's hard to tell unless you're closely looking - but consistenly, the color reproduction on peoples faces looks more natural, fuller colors, whereas on the XS max the ISO or whitebalance seems to be turned up more, making photos seem a bit too bright or harsh. Apple says that with their smart capture it identifies faces and sharpens sumbjects - and it's impressive that you can see the results - the XS max never was a bad shooter - the 11 Pro is just a fuller and more comprehensive package. And now for the free-for-all - Here's a photo comparision for all phones - working with my friends or asking restaurant patrons - it's really hard to see the differences, almost neglible. All my friends say the differences really don't matter. Some people don't care. But not us. So there you have it - the iPhone 11 Pro puts the camera above all - but what about the rest? Safe to say everything has improved - here's what you'll notice -First Battery life is 4 hours betters - that's a serious improvent for your day to day, with a bigger battery. Face ID is 30% faster - and I feel is finally at a point where I can forget Touch ID. Laying in bed I don't have to hold the phone arms length away - and it feels great. Apple's secrets - I'm sorry to say the actual display this year is worse than last year. I'm really upset at this. But the damage is done and I'm over it. The XS max feels better to touch - something about the 3D touch panel that's so expensive. The Pro 11 feels less smooth. The 'pop' speed of apps enabled with 3d touch makes the XS max faster than the Pro 11. Everyone I showed this honeslty thought the XS max was the newer phone, strictly based on panel. I've asked multiple store reps what happened to 3D touch. "Oh it's still there, called Haptic feedback". At the same time, most people I showed this to didn’t even know about 3D touch. And they masked so hard they released iOS 13 to make up for all the shortcomings. And iOS 13 paired with the new iphone with ultrawide camera, night shooter, and 4 hours battery life - and you can't help but applaud the company for their hardwork. iOS 13 on top of the beautful hardware is icing on a cake - masking the small imperfection of a cheaper panel. I Love iOS 13 - has anybody else been on dark mode for 24 hours a day since launch? No? Just me? With that - much love all - thank you for supporting the channel - please subscibe and we'll see you in October for the Surface launch event.
