The Cossacks series is back in force with Cossacks 3, taking the old formula of throwing thousands of units at each other in huge waves of messy mayhem, and sprucing it up for a modern audience. Cossacks 1 was one of my all time favourite games when I was younger. The usual RTS blend of economy and combat taken to extremes with thousands of units on the field and costs in the tens of thousands just made everything all the more grandiose.
