Paper machine, reverse engineering - 3D Laser Scanner
An outstanding example of reverse engineering: through our 3D Laser Scanner CAM 2 (FARO) and elaboration of clouds of points by FARO SCENE 5.4 software, we have obtained the 3D view (with color images) of a reel section within a paper machine for graphic papers in (6) scans (6 minutes each). This method of measurement has many advantages over traditional techniques, the first of which are quickness and precision. In particular, for paper machines, we can create "as built" drawings in no time, if missing and/or not updated. Contact us for further information.
