Warframe: Salvaging for Nidus through the infested ick
We seem to be doing a lot of infested related content these past few days but always seems to be somewhat different each time. This time the team is interested in acquiring parts to build Nidus. Nidus can be obtained by doing rotation C (AABC) of Infested Salvage missions which are found on the planet Eris. Neither CAS nor me remembered how Infested Salvage works so it was more or less a fresh experience for all of us. Closest mission type is probably a mixture of interception and excavation. You want to decode a message and in order to do so you need to keep the spores from infecting the decoding machines (3 of them are available). The more machines available to decode the quicker the decoding process works. The air is infected with spores so to keep the spores off the machine you have to fill mega industrial air purifiers with magic cubes that drop from infested units. Being within the air purified area will also prevent your armor from degrading. If your armor hits 0% and you stay out in spore land for too long you die, I think.
