Everett's Watercolors LIVE Classroom presented on 12-2-2021 introduced the Holbein Artists' Color Pencil 24 Set. Everett's Watercolors Art Supply Page has the desription and details on the Color Pencil 24 Set. The Colors of of the pencil set were presented and a Landscape, Still Life, and Drawing were shown as examples of the pencil colors and blending capabilities. A blending demonstration showing the combination of colors and vibrancy along with a description of the MELTZ color pencil blender was also presented. These colors can also be used for portrait drawings as an example of the variety of uses. A drawing exercise using a Cube was presented showing a pencil drawing with 2 point perspective and to give a more realistic shape of the object. An additional feature was to expand the Cube into a Log Cabin shapes to show the roof top, added porch, and a figure to demonstrate the scale and position of these objects in the drawing. A front door, window and chimney were also added. Colored pencils were used to add some color and textures to the drawing exercise and finally a demonstration of adding watercolor paint over the pencil drawings to add color and values.
