Mechanical Keyboard (LED Backlit) Teardown
What's inside a new budget-model mechanical keyboard? I'm taking a look today; both build quality and design were surprisingly okay! I just bought a cheap mechanical keyboard for an all-in-one computer-in-keyboard build. Eventually it'll be a C64 breadbin tribute system but in the meantime I'm taking a look at what makes the keyboard for the build click. Next time you see this keyboard it'll be accompanied by a built in quad core Atom SOC board stripped from a Z83-II (ver 2.0) and possibly re-LED'd. That part's still to be decided. That also means I'll be revisiting it later. So if any gremlins rear their heads I'll be sure to bring them up.
