Roland FR-3x V-Accordion: Schneewalzer, El Choclo, Danny Boy Demo
I am demonstrating the use of my "Euro" User Program for the FR-3x Virtual Accordion. A User Program allows me to instantly change the sounds in the treble, bass, and chord sections of the accordion without having to make multiple button presses. I am playing well-known songs that were composed prior to 1923: "Schneewalzer" is a popular German waltz composed by Thomas Koschat, 1845-1914. "El Choclo" is an immensely popular tango, written by Angel Villoldo and copyrighted in 1905. "Londonderry Air," also known as "Danny Boy," is from an old English melody, originally captured by Jane Ross in the 1800s. Frederic Weatherby modified the lyrics to fit Londonderry Air in 1913. Owners of the Roland FR-3x have the ability to quickly create User Programs. In this case, the User Program 304 (Euro) is based on my own User Set 304 which provides the raw sounds for the type of music I am playing in this video. It is intended to facilitate the playing of German, French, Scottish, and other European music. The prior three videos in this short series demonstrate User Programs for jazz/standards, Country, and Italian styles of music. If you are interested in the sets and User Programs I have for the FR-3x, just contact me at bakersfieldaccordion@gmail.com Here are all of my videos in this series on the FR-3x: 3x Overview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYmshtRzfSs User Program 301 (Jazzy) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXNiIS1o3NE User Program 302 (Country) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx0iR28ssnc User Program 303 (Italian) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdwu7mnLw0g User Program 304 (Euro) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiKUTUtpPJM User Program Value http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1PorKaghGM Migliavacca http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN89XtqPuII
