J.S. Bach - Warum betrubst du dich, mein Herz (Why do you trouble yourself, my heart)

My Double Bass student Josh Kurisko plays the bass part of the J.S. Bach chorale Warum betrubst du dich, mein Herz, BWV 138, and I ( Chris Spendley ) play the soprano part on a borrowed bass. This was at a recital that I put on at The Studio of Long Valley that featured all of my students at Valley Music Center in Long Valley, NJ where I teach. His mother was kind enough to record it on her phone and share it with me. Josh is very talented, so I decided to post this, raw though it may be. The translation of the chorale's title is "Why do you trouble yourself, my heart". It is for four voices, and I've done it with four double basses, but it lends itself eloquently to two basses. It can be heard here in four parts, played my double bass quartet from graduate school: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWIuGDjg9tQ. Here is another four-part Bach chorale played by the John J. Cali School of Music Bass Quartet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoqSHG6FSpk.
