After Sam defeated the Wind God, he stepped into the Mayan's timelock and then something went horribly wrong. A malfunction ripped a hole in space and time and sent Sam to an island outside of both. The island is home to those who were also sent here during a timelock malfunction. Luckily, the Sirians knew this was going to happen and so they installed a fail-safe on the island. Just because Sam is outside of time and space doesn't mean Mental hasn't become aware of the island's location. Before this bogus detour is over, some serious shit is gonna go down.
