NEW MERCEDES-AMG GT4
Hello friends. Mercedes is preparing to launch its first all-electric car developed under the AMG brand. The car is already undergoing testing, but the company is still silent about its specifications, but there are a lot of hints that the electric car will receive impressive power and it will be the most powerful four-door Mercedes to date. The prototype for the new product is the Vision AMG concept; the company released it for a reason. The new product will allegedly receive the name AMG GT4, where the four alludes to the number of doors, and GT to the class of the car. This will be the company's first product based on the completely new AMG.EA platform. This platform was developed by the AMG division and is tailored exclusively for high-performance AMG cars. Based on this platform, Mercedes will be able to use in the new AMG GT4 the same famous engines from the British company Yasa, which Mercedes acquired in 2021. The most interesting thing is that the British themselves confirmed that the AMG division will use in its future project an electric motor weighing only 24 kg, which produces a crazy 480 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Mercedes plans to use two of these engines in total, one on the front axle and the second on the rear axle.
