AMD Failed To Deliver With RDNA3, RX 7900XTX Is Decent Value But Nothing Spectacular

AMD finally announced their answer to Nvidia’s RTX 40 series and they’re nothing ground breaking. It seems like AMD failed to meet most people’s expectations where they expected an RTX 4090 killer at less than $999 but that didn’t happen. With that said if the RX 7900XTX can at least deliver 80% of the 4090’s performance and reliably beats the RTX 4080 in raw rasterization performance then it’ll be pretty decent and offer good value. AMD didn’t increase ray tracing performance by as much as they needed to, only matching ampere in performance which puts them behind a whole generation. Their presentation lacked highlighting the strengths of their products and they decided to hype up features like FAKE 8K gaming when nobody asked for it.
