We wanted to reach the planet as soon as possible. We wanted to see it with our own eyes. We wanted to explore it and learn more about it. We wanted to make contact with it and its inhabitants, if there were any. But we were also cautious and careful. We knew that the planet could also be dangerous and hostile. We knew that it could have hidden threats and secrets. We knew that it could be the source of a new challenge, or a new enemy. We knew that we had to be prepared for anything. We also knew that the red nebula had not revealed all of its secrets. We had discovered that it was a portal. We had discovered that it was alive, and that it had communicated with us. We had discovered that it had brought us here for a reason, a reason that we did not yet understand. But there was something else that we had not discovered. Something that we had not expected. The red nebula had left a mark on us. A mark that we could not see, but that we could feel. A mark that was changing us, slowly but surely. A mark that was connecting us, not only to each other, but also to the nebula itself. We did not know what this mark meant, or what it would do. We did not know if it was a blessing, or a curse. We did not know if it was a gift, or a trap. We did not know if it was a sign of friendship, or a sign of domination. We did not know if we had to embrace it, or resist it. We continued our journey, and we saw the planet. It was a beautiful sight. It was a blue and green sphere, shining in the light of the yellow star. It had clouds and continents, oceans and islands, mountains and valleys. It looked like a paradise. We prepared to scan the planet, to gather more information about it. We hoped that the scan would reveal its secrets, and answer our questions. We hoped that the scan would confirm its habitability, and its suitability. We hoped that the scan would show us the way, and the truth. But we also had many doubts. What would the scan reveal? What would the planet hide? What would the planet offer?
