How to Make a Cigar Box Ukulele | Simple Ukulele Build | DIY Ukulele
Hey everyone! This is a video showing you how to make your own cigar box ukulele step by step. This was a really fun build that took FOREVER (I had a lot of other projects going on at the time and had to work on it here and there as I could). You'll see my hair and beard change a few times throughout the video, not to mention my shirt. The editing took way too long! I had it almost 75% done and lost everything when my program crashed. Taught me really quick to keep hitting the save button as I go along. I built this out of easy to find things that you should be able to get all in a single trip to Home Depot besides finding the cigar box and your strings. Looking back now I think I would recommend buying actual frets and using those instead of the wire cutoffs. It would save tons of time to not try and get those all straight and looking pretty.
