Current Price & More Info ►https://amzn.to/2yF3pMM The Professional OBD2 Diagnostic Scan Tool trusted by mechanics and developed by Professional Engineers in North America Officially licensed and certified for Apple and Android devices The BlueDriver App and BlueDriver Sensor work exclusively with each other to ensure quality As easy to use as a code reader with all the capabilities of an expensive handheld scan tool, plus the benefits of your smartphone or tablet (free app updates, portability, saving data, interactive graphing of live data) Free vehicle-specific Repair Reports drawn from a database of over 6.6 million fixes verified by certified auto mechanics ============================================== Review: This product paid for itself the first time I used it. I’m not a mechanic, might not even qualify as a ‘shade tree mechanic’, and I have no idea how to use most of this products capabilities. This said, I’ve used this device on multiple cars with great success. This product doesn’t just read the cars computers codes, but scans them, provides live data, mock smog checks, and resets codes (allows you to see retest results). It also reads your VIN number and provides volumes of information related to your vehicle. This includes any recalls/campaigns and Technical Service Bulletins (TSB). I learned the TSBs are issued to provide repair suggestions and info to auto repair professionals. The device connects to your phone or iPad via Bluetooth and accesses the internet via Wi-Fi or cell. In my opinion, this is what enables the capability most helpful to a rookie like myself. It doesn’t just give you a 5 digit code (ex P0106) and a description. It actually accesses a database of 1.5 million certified ASE repairs, and gives you the most common fixes for the associated code. This feature paid for this device the first time I used it. I had a P0106, MAP sensor, code on an Infiniti G37. Normally I would have just taken the car to my local mechanic when the check engine light came on, but now I used the BlueDriver. It told me a service bulletin had been issued for this problem, and the most common repair was actually related to an ECM programming issue. It turned out the MAP sensor was fine and my car actually needed an update to the computer. Unfortunately I had missed the window to have this done at the dealers expense, and I had to negotiate to have then do it at no cost. To me the device is beneficial if you: - want to gain insight before you take your car to a mechanic; - who’s to try and fix it yourself; and - if you want to check a used car before purchase With what I now know, I would not purchase a used car without using this first. While you can clear codes, many codes are Permanent. This means even if you fix the problem, it will still show it had a problem. Also, when someone resets the codes, it can take up to a week of driving for the car to complete all of the tests, and turn a check engine light back on. This device will show you, at least on my car, when the codes were reset, and if the tests are complete. This will eliminate buying a car and a week later finding out you have emissions problems. It’s also nice to know if your car will pass smog before taking it in and having the information transmitted to DMV. I can’t tell you this OBDII scanner is better than another, but I can tell you I was completely blown away by the capabilities. The other thing that is amazing is it updates constantly. The repository of repair info just continues to grow, and it gets free app updates on a regular basis from the Apple App Store. - one last thing: when I turned it on this week I displayed a message informing they were about to test ‘Enhanced Codes’ for Nissan/Infiniti, and asked if I would help beta test the updates. It’s amazing, it actually shows me anti-lock brake system (ABS) codes, air back codes, and down to even when my low tire pressure sensors detected a problem. I was a little confused as I researched and read reviews, and my hope is this detail will help others. Hope it helps BlueDriver Bluetooth Professional OBDII Scan Tool for iPhone, iPad & Android review 2018 #review #demo
