Trekking through the Canadian wilderness I came upon a pile of debris, dirt and bones nestled by a river bed. In and among the outcropping was a worn book. After a few minutes of reading the passages inside I came to realize it was the journal of one man's adventure of survival. It takes place in this region right after the great geomagnetic storms of the early 20's. It is a tragic tale but his vivid storytelling captured my imagination.
