HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 Printhead Problem | Printer Error
TECH TIP: HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 N811d - Missing or Damaged Error: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZzrR8CkLvA --- Following HP 950, 950XL, 951 or 951 ink cartridges installation into your #HP #OfficeJet Pro 8100 ( #HP8100 -- Model #N811d ) printer, if the #error message “ #Printhead #Problem ”, " Printhead #Failure " or “ #Missing or #Failed Printhead “ is observed, then this could be caused by one (or more) of the 950-951 #ink #cartridges having an insufficient amount of ink inside. In most cases, particularly if the cartridge was refilled, one of the cartridges is empty but the cartridge’s electronic smart chip is telling the printer it has a full ink load. The respective #ink #system #failure #error or #printer #shutdown #condition is generated due to air being ingested into the printer’s internal PRINTHEAD assembly and the presence of ink is not being #detected via #sensors inside the ink cartridge. Thus as a #safety precaution to protect the printer, the printer is shutdown to avoid burning out hundreds of small electronic #thermal ink #firing #nozzles inside the #HP #PRINTHEAD assembly. Remove all four #HP950 and #HP951 (or #HP950XL, #HP951XL) #ink #cartridges and weigh them with a scale to help determine which cartridge has an inadequate amount of ink inside (i.e. compare like cartridges against each other). The lightest ink cartridge, in comparison to other available full cartridges, will usually reveal the likely culprit. Replace suspect cartridge, or all four ink cartridges, with brand #new HP #original ink cartridges to completely eliminate root cause of both ink volume and attached chip compatibility. Note: Other printer error messages which could signify a PRINTHEAD problem include “Ink Cartridge #Failure”, “Cartridge Damaged”, “Printhead Failure”, “There is a #problem with the #ink system” , “ #Depleted #Cartridges “ or “The following cartridges are #not #intended for use in this Printer”. See video below to help resolve: Ink Cartridge Missing or Damaged - HP950XL HP951XL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjmHW9Xa29A Note 2: Alternatively, if the respective cartridge is full of ink but the smart chip was not/has not been replaced, this will thus result in a "depleted cartridges" or "ink empty" error condition; typically a printer alert will signify to "Replace empty ink cartridge(s)" or similar. --- Supported HP 950/951 Ink Cartridges 950 Black #CN049 951 Cyan CN050 951 Magenta CN051 951 Yellow CN052 950 XL Black #CN045 951 XL Cyan CN046 951 XL Magenta CN047 951 XL Yellow CN048 Supported Printer Models: HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium HP OfficeJet Pro 251dw HP OfficeJet Pro 276dw MFP HP OfficeJet Pro 8100e HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 HP OfficeJet Pro 8615 HP OfficeJet Pro 8616 HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 N811d HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 N911a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus N911g HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium N911n HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 A7F64A HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 A7F65A HP OfficeJet Pro 8625 HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 A7F66A HP OfficeJet Pro 8640 HP OfficeJet Pro 8660 HP OfficeJet Pro 251dw CV136A HP OfficeJet Pro 276dw MFP CR770A --- The average person may agree that finding low cost #inkjet #cartridges is top of the list when searching, i.e. #HP950 or #HP951 #inkjet #printer #cartridges, since originally branded ink is quite #expensive.
