TRIP REPORT! QATAR AIRWAYS AIRBUS A380 TOP DECK ECONOMY, PEEK AT FIRST CLASS BAR & ORYX LOUNGE, DOH
I recently flew for the first time with Qatar Airways from London to the Seychelles via Doha, Qatar, I was booked on the top deck of an airbus A380 which has a very small economy section upstairs because the rest of that top deck is dedicated to business class and first class. My seats were 26A and 26B and we were right behind the First Class bar which is also shared by Business Class. I got a chance to check out that bar and got a great sneak peek - if only I could fly Business or First class so that I could actually get to experience that amazing bar during the flight. As well as the sneak peek at that bar this video offers a full review of my economy seats on top deck, which were actually very good and felt superior to the economy on the deck below. I look at the seats, the leg room, the recline, the food, the entertainment and the amenities/goody bag. And once I got to Doha I had a short layover and made use of the Oryx Lounge in Doha airport, which I look at in this video too. The food on offer there was AMAZING and better than the other big Qatar Airways lounge in Doha airport in my opinion. The Oryx lounge has lots of chill spaces as well as a games room. All in all I was VERY impressed with Qatar Airways. The flying experience they offer is superior to most other airlines. I would happily fly with them again everywhere!
