Mini Jam Monday #28 | Korg Volca Keys, FM, Sample, and Bass
All Volca jam or all PO jam? - IG poll results: 67% Volcas (196 votes) and 33% Pocket Operators (95 votes) Hey guys! I've got a brand new mini jam for you all. :D This one is an all Volca jam featuring the Volca Keys, Volca FM, Volca Sample, and Volca Bass. 🙂 For this jam, I was shooting for some really "ambient", "spacey", cinematic vibes... and this is what I ended up with. lol The vKeys is playing the bass sequence, vSample is on drum duties, vFM is playing the main melodies, and the vBass is playing a repeating arpeggio. I wanted a fast apreggio in the vBass, but was unable to it while synced to the rest of the Volcas because the tempo was so slow. So, I just tried running the fast sequence in the vBass without any sync and I think it worked out well. Without sync, I was also able to slow down and speed up the tempo of the vBass mid-jam which provided a cool effect to the overall sound.
