B1Mobile Troubleshooting: Connection Failed-Part 2
Error "Connection Failed" Root cause 1: The address of the backend server (B1i server) set in the mobile device Setting is incorrect. Solution 1: Ensure the address of the backend server is correct and can be accessed in the same network (ask relevant IT admin to check the network environment for both mobile device and back-end server such as firewall, anti-virus, port opening, secure protocol...). You can use the Telnet command to try and ping the server/port. Root cause 2: The B1i services (SAP Business One Integration Service) is not started. Solution 2: Start/Restart SAP Business One Integration Service. Root cause 3: SSL is set to On in mobile device Setting, but the port of backend server is not 8443 (by default). Or SSL is set to Off in Setting and the port of backend server is not 8080 (by default). Solution 3: Ensure SSL-On and port 8443 (by default) is configured in pair. Or SSL-Off and port 8080 (by default) is configured in pair
