For beginners bar chords even, on a ukulele can hurt their fingers. But with practice, it should get easier over time. The constant bass line is also difficult due to having to be able to control one's thumb independently.The relentless barrage of notes after, were as difficult to play because my arm would get tired after the bar chord and bass combo.
