Borderlands 2 Physx test on AMD 6870 card
Just a quick video showing some pretty sweet physx effects. The game is on mostly maxed settings without AA and is using high physx settings. As you can see in the video, the frame rate doesn't really drop. It only ever drops in really large areas (such as Caustic Caverns) with a lot of effects going on at once. Even then it doesn't drop below a playable rate! My rig is an AMD 6870 overclocked to 950mhz core and 1200mhz memory clock. My cpu is a 2500k at 4.8ghz. If you have similar specs and are getting considerable drops in frame rates you can try and change these options in the Willowengine.ini PhysXGpuHeapSize=64 PhysXMeshCacheSize=4 And these settings in Willowgame.ini SecondsBeforeConsideringRagdollRemoval=300.0 SecondsBeforeVisibleRagdollRemoval=300.0 SecondsBetweenRagdollRemovalAttempts=1.0 SecondsBeforePhysicsShutsDown=4.0
