These weapons don't have great scaling or damage output but their unique Rot affinity makes them a fun spear to use. The build is centered around the L1 dual spear thrusting attacks and the rot status build up. The biggest issue with this build for invasions is that it has no burst damage. The spears cannot be infused with ashes of war and their default ash of war is somewhat lackluster. The spears are great for pressuring though, especially once you proc the Rot build up. The Mushroom Crown help and Kindred of Rot's Exultation talisman both boost attack output when the Rot status is proced. The Spear talisman boosts damage output for thrusting counter attacks, which are very common with this build.
