It is part of a short introduction set of tutorials for learning basic skills that lay the principals for advanced techniques in music production, using the DAW Digital Audio Workstation, Logic Pro X for Apple computers. … During the Covid 19 Pandemic, I continued to teach music production to many students of different abilities. Creating an even playing field and equal opportunities for students to access resources to continue learning was my aim and goal. At the beginning of 2020 before the lockdowns were enforced worldwide, I had already created this series of videos that were then presented on a basic website that could be accessed by students. Nearly 2 years on, these videos are still being used by students that I teach so I have decided to make them available to everybody. *** This is not an exhaustive course and there are many areas that could be developed further and with more detail, but it takes you on a journey through the tools and processes needed to work with any style of music with Logic Pro and starting to understand the fundamental principals of music production. *** This is now a slightly outdated version of Logic Pro, but all the processes, tools and techniques are relevant to the current version.
