Defeating My First Thunderjaw - Horizon Zero Dawn
Behold, my first Thunderjaw kill. The other day I saw my first Thunderjaw and right away knew, I had to kill this thing! However, after around 4 to 6 attempts of failing I finally had to call it a night and get to bed. But, I wasn't going to stop. I swore I would NOT progress in the game anymore until I defeated it. Even if I had to grind XP to get additional skills unlocked. The next day I got off work and was determined to win this fight. I had done some thinking after the battles I had failed the night before. Realizing that pure brute force wasn't going to be enough. So I came up with a new plan, and after 3 attempts, I finally beat it (though at least 1 of the fails, still trying to figure how it got me). Level 20 on Hard Difficult, wearing just a Nora Silent Hunter (with no mods). To be honest all 3 attempts went really well. My only problem was the failed ones, I could never find the 2nd disc launcher. That and I realized I should use my Tripcaster to help me out.
