DJay 95 Plays: Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike (Dreamcast) Longplay
Hey players, DJay here with a new fighting game longplay on Capcom's Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. Description of the game: Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike is the third and final updated version of the Street Fighter III trilogy released in arcades in 1999 on the CPS III arcade system board. It soon received home ports including the Dreamcast in 2000, PS2 in 2004 with all the features in the Dreamcast port and on XBox with all features in the PS2 port as well as online Versus mode. In August 2011, an online edition of the game called Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition was available as a downloadable game on PSN and XBOX Live Arcade. The game also includes lyrics of a handful of songs and voice-overs done by Canadian rapper, Infinite. The game tells the story of what happened after the events of Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact and the conclusion of the Third World Warrior Tournament (Fourth, retroactively). Gameplay is just like it's previous installments in the series, but with further refinements to the game's mechanics and rules as well as a bigger character roster with Chun-li being reintroduced and 4 new characters: Q, Remy, Twelve and Makoto. The new Guard Parry system is added to the game as well as a grading system based on the player's performance during each match. Players must fight 10 regular opponents, including a character specific rival and the final boss, Gill. In between, players can also play the "Parry the ball" mini-game from 2nd Impact as well as the fan favorite "Crush the car."
