Prey Playthrough Part 3
One thing i'm noticing is that every enemy encounter is basically a toss of the dice, it's almost never worthwhile to fight them, and there's a heavy theme of "gameplay choices are important" so this is basically survival horror, like bioshock and alien isolation mixed together. this aspect is really good because resource management encourages players to approach a situation critically, moreso than in other games like this, you've gotta be inventive and not take too many risks. approaching a mimic fight has to be done with care or you'll waste more of that precious health than you're ready to, which may be bad in the long run and force your choices down a potentally damaging road. it's actually really clever how they implemented that too.
