Watermark (Enya) on iPad 2 plus Alesis Q49 USB-MIDI Controller
Here's my initial test of an Alesis Q49 USB/MIDI Controller on an iPad 2, running GarageBand using the Camera Connection Kit, with something that sounds like Enya. The Alesis Q49 doesn't need a power supply when it's all USB powered, so it's plug and play on the iPad. it works really well with no latency and I do recommend it if you want to upgrade to a keyboard. The keys are not weighted but velocity still works OK. It also works with other synth apps like the Korg iMS-20.
